At our school, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. It’s about building relationships, creating lasting memories, and shaping positive behaviour—factors that have a profound effect on students’ development. Research shows that positive interactions, engagement in nature, and experiences with animals can support emotional regulation and well-being, enhancing brain development and learning capacity.

This selection of photos showcases our woodland adventures, time spent caring for animals, equine therapy, games and sports, celebration days, and educational visits tied to our curriculum. These experiences, rooted in nature and hands-on learning, help students grow socially, emotionally, and academically, reinforcing the skills they need for life. Enjoy these special moments that highlight our journey of growth, connection, and discovery.

Our School Therapy Dogs –Sasha and Tilly

Our therapy dogs have received training from Therapy Dog Training UK to support our pupils’ well-being. These specially trained dogs play an important role in creating a calming and supportive environment across the school.

Therapy dogs offer emotional support, help reduce stress, and encourage social interaction. Their presence can lower anxiety levels, boost mood, and promote positive behaviour, making it easier for students to focus and engage in learning. Whether through one-on-one sessions or simply being part of the school community, our therapy dogs help foster a sense of safety and connection, which benefits both academic progress and emotional resilience.
