Our Approach

We recognise that the most important tools we have to help our young people grow and develop is our staff. We are aware that our ability to relate to our young people in a sensitive, caring and consistent manner, is the most important contribution we can make to their development.

As a service we invest in our young people by investing in our staff, ensuring that they have the required training and support to meet the changing needs of our young people. This ensures that we are able to promote growth and development throughout the period of time that the young people live with us.

At Westbury School House we offer a ‘person centred’ approach with the young person at the heart of everything we do. We tailor the way we work to meet the young person’s individual needs, strengths, aspirations and interests.
